Joe Biden Says He Never Thought Hillary Clinton Was a Great Candidate!

As reported by The Hill, Ex Vice President Biden stated that 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was not the optimal candidate imaginable, however that she “would have been a really good president.”

Addressing the crowd at the SALT hedge fun conference in Las Vegas, Biden stated that he was certain that he could have done a far better job in conquering President Trump’s campaign trail, CNN reported.

“I never thought she was a great candidate. I thought I was a great candidate,” Biden noted.

However, that doesn’t indicate that he thinks she was less worthy than Trump.

“Hillary would have been a really good president,” he segued.

Biden stated that the deadlock in Congress and escalating anger at Trump could obligate him to enter the race in 2020, however he’s far from decisive.

“The public is sick of it ….This fever has to break,” Biden said. If things don’t improve, “I may very well do it,” he stated.

“At this point,” however, “no one in my family or I have made the judgment to run,” Biden stated.

In the case he decides to run in 2020, he would be 78 years old. Priorly to this, Biden decided not to run in the 2016 Democratic Primary following the tragic death of his son, Beau, from brain cancer, aged 35.
