Sen. Tilliis Falls Unconscious During A Race – Taken To Hospital Immediately

On Wednesday, Sen. Thom Tillis fainted while running in a race, so he was shortly taken with an ambulance vehicle to the hospital.

According to reports by The Associated Press, someone gave Tillis a CPR after he
fainted. The senator and his team members were running in the American Council of Life Insurer’s Capital Challenge, in a three-mile team race. Before even the race, he took to Twitter to post a picture of his team.

As the report reads, at the beginning, Tillis appeared to be unconscious but shortly he was animated as soon as the ambulance arrived.

A journalist from WUSA9 published a picture from the incident on Twitter and he wrote above that, “3 men saved the life of Senator Thom Tillis.”

Multiple political figures instantly send their prayers on Twitter, including senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, Rep. Patrick McHenry and North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein.

Rubio said, “Please pray for my Senate colleague @ThomTillis” while Cruz tweeted, “Hope you’ll join Heidi and me in lifting up @ThomTillis in your thoughts and prayers.”
